Hey, y’all! I’m Tara.

I’m the artist behind all the work you see here, and I’ve been making art in some form for as long as I can remember. I live just outside of Austin and spend my days doing what I love most—drawing, gardening, or wandering through nature with a camera and sketchbook in hand. Every day feels like a dream, and I’m endlessly grateful for it.

Before anything makes it onto a wall or into a pattern, I spend time out in the world—gathering colors, textures, and inspiration from the plants, paths, and landscapes around me. It’s an essential part of my process, and it keeps my work rooted in observation and connection.

I earned my BFA in Interior Design from the University of North Texas in 2010, and that foundation continues to shape the way I approach every project. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with clients across many industries and have found my sweet spot in botanical murals and pattern design—two art forms that challenge me, excite me, and keep me coming back for more.

Whether I’m painting a massive wall or building a new pattern collection, my work is shaped by a deep love of nature, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to create something that feels both grounded and joyful. I value creative freedom, thoughtful collaboration, and a process that feels just as meaningful as the final piece.
